MDK Law founder Mark Kimball recently completed all requirements for his second LL.M. (Master of Laws) degree in International Commercial Transactions. The degree is a joint offering by Boston University, Europe’s Lazarsky University and the Center for International Legal Studies (CILS) based in Salzburg, Austria. Mark has worked with CILS for ten years, and has presented at CILS conferences and has instructed European and Erasmus undergraduate and graduate students in American Corporate Law at three separate universities in the European Union.
Coursework involved in the degree included international arbitration and litigation, and protection of foreign investments in host nations. The degree is Mark’s second LL.M.; he also holds an LL.M. in Tax Law from the University of Washington (2004).
